Although sales drops after first week are pretty common, difference between The Last of Us 2 and other first-party titles are noteworthy. The game sold four million copies in the first three days, making it the fastest-selling PS4 exclusive of all time. However, that impressive sales number has took a great hit and unexpectedly dropped by 80% this week. Last month's daily selling rate was 40,275 units (calculated over 25 selling days), which is considerably lower than September 2020's selling rate of 53,644 (also calculated over 25 selling days).
